That’s where bèikè comes in. The word "bèikè" (备课) in Mandarin literally means "lesson plan," which is at the heart of everything we do. Meet the Team - Two besties and Me
My Human, Poppy
Poppy is a high school languages teacher and the mastermind behind bèikè. She’s always talking about helping her fellow teachers get organised, stay on top of their lesson plans, and make teaching a bit easier. That’s why she created this planner—she wanted something that really gets what Aussie teachers need, all wrapped up in one neat, beautiful package. I love hanging out by her side while she works, and sometimes I even sneak in to test out how comfy the planner is (spoiler: it’s perfect for napping!).
Auntie Skylar
Skylar is Poppy’s bestie from high school, and she’s the brain behind this awesome website you’re exploring. She’s got a knack for design and tech stuff, so she made everything look just as amazing as the planner itself! Together, Poppy and Skylar make a dream team, combining their talents to create something really special for teachers.
And Then, There’s Me!
As the Morale Officer, I bring the pep to bèikè Teacher Planner team. My job is to keep spirits high with lots of tail wags, cuddles, and puppy energy. I’m here to remind my humans to take breaks and enjoy the little things in life—like snacks and belly rubs!
